Utilising ten years of experience within the equality sector, and numerous partnerships with other specialist employment charities, Wise Owls have developed a website unique within the United Kingdom.
EqualityRecruitment.co.uk is quickly developing as an umbrella site for the recruitment needs of charities and agencies that specialise in helping minority groups into work. By developing a base for these charities to reach employers from we can become a powerful force for diversity within this country.
If you are an organisation that helps equality groups with employment and support we would be interested in including you with this project to improve diversity within the UK. By entering into a partnership with EqualityRecruitment.co.uk you will:
Increase your client base by the referrals we make to your organisation.
All clients registering to find employment have the option to register their details in the automated referral system, which will send you details of jobseekers, who fit the criteria you work with.
Gain an additional source of job vacancies that are targeted towards recruiting from minority groups.
Benefit from the professional advisors who will assist in the screening process
Raise your profile within the equality community
There are some groups that fall through the Equality Net definition but provide equally vital work that we know must be included in support for the individual. We are therefore linked to organisations who help Lone parents, Carers, Homeless, Long term unemployed, Alcohol and Drug Dependency, ex-offenders, and refugees - The full list can be found HERE - Are you an organisation providing vital support for those looking for work but not under the equality banner. Contact us at admin@equalityrecruitment.co.uk
When employers advertise vacancies on our site they will reach all the equality groups they are required to by government legislation. Job vacancies will be seen by hundreds of thousands of clients across the UK on the sites equalityrecruitment.co.uk and wiseowls.co.uk.
To make this equal opportunities approach as effective as possible we need partners who specialise in helping excluded groups.
If you are interested, then please contact us on 0208 983 9716, and ask for Andy, Sean or Chris. Please also note the form below which you will need to complete in order to become a partner.
Or, if you would like your organisation to have a link in our links' page, then please contact us at: webmaster@equalityrecruitment.co.uk
EED
Equality Recruitment is now being used by partners in the EED SPV to lead the way in an innovative approach to giving customer choice to job seekers and providing a fair matching system to all partners. This means that every client registering for help is automatically matched to the providers able to meet all their specific needs. Thus, a client registering who is over 50, from a BAME background, who has a disability may be matched to 3 support providers geared to help candidates with each of their specific equality and diversity needs.
This approach has now been extended to the partner members of the EED SPV so that be-tween the members everyone has the possibility of recruiting and supporting all relevant clients who apply for help. As well as providing customer choice, it means that all providers have a automatic access to relevant clients who are eligible and meet their funding require-ments, therefore guaranteeing fair and equitable distribution of clients to the partners best able to help them.
We will be using this system in any contracts we obtain or as a delivery consortium working for another Prime. Anyone interested in finding out more or sending in a EOI should contact us on 020 7278 8553 or email admin@equalityrecruitment.co.uk. Click here to view our EED expression of interest form.
